We find ourselves living in an intense period of change in our society and world. Scholars have given some of these changes names such as post-Christianity, post-modern, and post-denominational. While even the names may evoke our concerns, the truth of the matter is that regardless of the issues, trials or tribulations we face, God is still in control! The world has perhaps seen worse than this and still God’s plan of salvation and the love for His creation continues – His love endures forever!

Our church family desires and strives to stay true to the revealed word of God in Christ and eagerly seeks to discern the Holy Spirit at work in our lives and in those around us. The congregation was founded on Baptist principles and remains true to them today. The superficial things – such as the name of the church, its décor, the music, etc. – may change, but our heart is still the same. We also recognize that we are not perfect, but are forgiven; not yet sanctified, but on the road to recovery; not yet new creatures in Christ, but being transformed daily into his likeness.

We feel that a righteous, not just right, relationship with Christ is paramount, and such relationship transfers to believers, so that we strive to love one another in all that we do. We do not seek uniformity, however, but unity; celebrating our unity despite our diversity. We seek to become Christ to the world; seek to worship in spirit and truth, seek to be ready at anytime to share the hope we have in Christ, and seek to do the good works which God has prepared for us in advance to do.
